VOYA Launches New Reusable Organic Cotton Bag for Lazy Days Seaweed Bath

The world's first seaweed-based skincare brand, inspired by the Irish tradition of seaweed bathing, VOYA harnesses the goodness of this incredible natural ingredient in both their spa and retail skincare products. Ireland's only indigenous wellness therapy, seaweed bathing stems from a three-hundred-year-old tradition.

NEW LAZY DAYS ORGANIC COTTON BAG

VOYA invites customers to take the seaweed bathing experience home with VOYA Lazy Days, the original VOYA wellness product. Relax in a bath of Fucus Serratus (Seaweed) hand-harvested from the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Ireland. Utilising only the natural power of seaweed to deeply moisturise the skin, a seaweed bath is the simplest and purest of all organic treatments (organic status approved by the IOFGA**).

This January, VOYA launched their Lazy Days Organic Cotton Bag, a concept inspired by creating a more environmentally friendly way of containing the seaweed bath (previously there had been a plastic net). This reusable bag allows people to massage the goodness into their skin while bathing and can be used as a skin soothing compress.

SEAWEED HARVESTING

With a focus on sustainability, the seaweed in VOYA products is hand-harvested off the west coast of Ireland. Hand harvesting means there is limited impact on the delicate seabed’s and only a portion of the seaweed is removed at one time, allowing it to grow back within 12-28 months. In addition, it also allows VOYA to be more selective about the quality of the seaweed they select.

High in levels of vitamins and essential amino acids that help balance the skin's natural moisture levels. Ideal for oily and combination skin types.

FUCUS SERRATUS

Conditions and hydrates, leaving skin feeling plump and soft. Perfect for all skin types and the most used seaweed in VOYA skincare products, including VOYA Lazy Days.

LAMINARIA DIGITATA

Rich in minerals known to support the external barrier in protecting the skin, leaving it plump and soft. Ideal for dehydrated skin types and used in VOYA spa treatments, including their seaweed wraps.

FUCUS VESICULOSUS

High in vitamins A and C, which condition and brighten the skin. Ideal for all skin types and used in VOYA body scrubs.
